Last week I made a quick trip to Mike’s home for some updated headshots. Mike is the father of one of my former brides, and also makes custom stamps, teaches card making classes and designs cards. He’s just got a new position with a national company and needed a few new shots for his biography. Tonight I had the pleasure of attending the Business Women’s Mega Mixer here in San Diego, and I met so many great business women! It was so awesome to be in a room with 600 other like-minded women networking and having fun.

I spoke with several of the wonderful ladies that I met about the importance of a good, professional headshot on your website. Your headshot is a good percentage of your potential client’s first exposure to you, and it needs to make an impact. A crisp, clean and creative headshot will go much farther than a blurry, hastily cropped family snapshot on your website. Think about the impact a great headshot has on you when you see one on someone else’s website. It communicates professionalism, confidence and a commitment to the business.

In light of the huge importance of headshots, I would like to offer a special on my headshot sessions, just for the lovely business women who attended tonight’s Mega Mixer. I’m offering mini 30 minute headshot sessions to attendees for only $30 (a 70% savings!) and you will get up to three full size, retouched digital files for your use.
